Quinn Reader Organizes Network to Send Copies of Ishmael to Prominent Leaders

Quinn reader Ruth McElroy Amundsen has begun a new campaign to get Ishmael and other books into the hands of those who need to read them. The booksending network is based at http://www.outreachbooks.org. The site offers a way to track who has sent Ishmael, or a socially conscious book along similar lines, to a corporation, community leader, politician, or other prominent organization. In order to coordinate efforts in book-sending to influential people, Friends of Ishmael Society has teamed up with Outreachbooks to offer the Monthly Ishmael Community Action.
